Muzuri is an Emerging Retail company created in March 2021 in Congo DR with the vision to develop brands under International Franchises.

The purpose is to develop The Retail sector in DRC.

Muzury is a Congolese company, under the NAIA Group, a Real State company, which is developing shopping centers in the big cities of DRC, Kinshasa, Kolwezi et Lubumbashi, with the genuine concern to develop the Retail Sector in Africa.

Muzuri Retail holds the franchises of 7 international brands, with the passion of bringing back the international taste in the cities of the democratic Republic of Congo.


Pascale Pouyet is the Fashion and Lifestyle Director at Muzuri Retail. Pascale has over 20 years of experience in retail and started her career in fashion retail in France in 2003. In 2013, she developed and led Eurasia Group in Uzbekistan, a fashion retail portfolio of 20 international brands under franchising. She is also a specialist in Mall Management. Pascale Pouyet is responsible for the Expansion and the Development of Retail international strategic partners.

David Melki is the Food & Beverage Director at Muzuri Retail. He is a leading F&B professional with more than 25 years of experience in the Hospitality industry : from QSR to casual dining operations experience as well as coffee shops. Carrying the experience of a Franchisee and Franchisor gives him a knowledge edge of the F&B business through many of its basic aspects: Training, Operations, Management, Sales, Marketing, Supply chain and Development.

Jad’s 15 years baggage has gathered all the aspects of the Food industry, from the managerial, to operational, to administrative. Jad has excelled in many roles and went through all the positions in the F&B. His experience combined with his interpersonal skills are a perfect match.


FatBurger /Buffalo Express (Operations Manager)

Rami is a fast food and food retail veteran, where he has been through all possible positions, and all possible situations in the last 15 years. Rami’s structured approach gained from his training background along with his firm and clear vision will definitely result into an efficient outcome.


Food & Beverage / Executive Chef

Marcel is simply a multitasker, with more than 20 years of professional and academic instruction experience. Marcel has always been a practicing Chef, an Operations Senior and a food instructor. This combination might be his unique recipe.


Khalil Manji

switched his career in 2005 from banking to real estate development and construction. Surrounding himself with professionals he has developed projects that have become landmarks in Kinshasa ranging from commercial to residential, hospitals, schools, places of worship and showrooms for the likes of the French Government, Toyota, Heineken and the Vatican to name a few.

Karim Ramji

is the Managing Director of Muzuri. In 1992 joined a trading company Glober kirk ltd as financial controller, thereafter becoming financial director. In 2002 established a soft drink factory which supplied all regions in Southern Africa. In 2016 he sold the company. From 2017 was appointed consultant to a vast manufacturing concern in Kinshasa DRC and in 2018 appointed as Managing Director, in charge of overall strategy in production, marketing and sales.

Rahim Dhrolia

is the Director of VinMart, which is a diversified group of companies in many sectors such as mining, agriculture, manufacturing, power and financial services to name a few. He is also the Chairman of Mayfair Insurance Congo and brings more than 12 years of diverse experience to the Group.

Sajid Dhrolia

is the Founder and CEO of Biso na Biso and SNS Group of Companies. Through his leadership these entities have diversified in many sectors such as retail, manufacturing, real-estate development and many more.

Evgeniy has over 15 years of experience in retail sector and started his career in fashion retail in Uzbekistan in 2007. In 2014, he started as Store Manager of U.S. Polo Assn. Store in Eurasia Group Uzbekistan, then from moving up the ranks Brand Manager, Senior Brand Manager of LC Waikiki Uzbekistan, Director of Operations, Managing Director of the company. 

Lisov Evgeniy is responsible for the Fashion Retail in Angola.

Timur Shamsiev

Brand Manager at Muzuri Retail

. Timur has more than 16 years of experience in retail and started his career in Fashion in Uzbekistan in 2008. Having worked in three large companies in the Uzbek market, the main stage in his career was working at Eurasia Group, where he began as a sales assistant in 2015 and after having passed all stages of development and training, he became brand manager of LC Waikiki. Timur is now the Angola country operations manager for LC Waikiki.

He has 16 years plus experience in Retail by starting his own shoe business in 2003 and afterwards working for international brands as Store Manager in 2012. Later on, his strong skills as operations manager led him to Retail Sales Manager under Adil Fashion in Kinshasa in 2020. Now he is working as the Area Manager under Muzuri Retail projects in the region of Katanga.
